Question- How should I dress for a tour?


Answer- You will be exiting and entering the vehicles several times during your tour to discover historical sights, take advantage of photo opportunities, and observe wildlife/natural plant life   We suggest long pants, high top hiking style boots/shoes.  During the fall and winter months be prepared with a medium to heavy weight jacket.  Year round we suggest a good hat, sunglasses, and high SPF sunscreen.



Question- Are children allowed on your tours?


Answer-  Yes! Old West Desert Tours is a complete family experience.  We do not provide Safety/Booster seats. Our tour vehicles are equipped to accommodate standard child safety seats.   If your child requires a Safety/Booster seat please ensure you arrive for the tour with these.



Question- What if our tour is cancelled?


Answer- We make every effort possible to ensure our tours depart and are completed on schedule.  Due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather, mechanical issues or family emergencies a tour may be cancelled.  In the unlikely event this occurs your tour will be rescheduled at your earliest convenience with no additional fees and a 10% discount. If you are unable to reschedule a full refund will be given.



 Question- Can I customize my own tour?


Answer- Yes!  We offer numerous tour packages to accommodate most customers.  If you have a specific destination or adventure in mind our professional staff can work with you to plan a tour that will meet and exceed your needs.



Question-  Are Old West Desert tours safe?


Answer- Yes!  You can have peace of mind knowing that our professional guides are the best in the business and we are not just saying that lightly.  Our tour guides hold certifications in First Aid and CPR and are highly experienced in Wilderness survival.  Every tour guide has been screened to ensure they meet our stringent standards of safety, knowledge and experience.


Our trip routes are pre-determined and gps mapped.  Our vehicles carry navigation equipment from a basic map and compass to the latest in gps technology.  Our tours are tracked via satellite and in the event of a vehicle break down or medical emergency satellite communications will be used to contact repair or rescue services.  



Question-  Can handicapped/physically challenged individuals take a Old West Desert Tour?


Answer- Yes!  We will make every effort to provide a authentic old west experience to disabled patrons.  Due to safety concerns all options may not be available.  Our professional staff will go out of their way to plan and customize a experience worthy of your patronage.  Creating long lasting memories for all patrons is our #1 goal!  



Question-  What is included in an Old West Desert Tour?


Answer-
